I must say the taste of porridge is not bad but not tasty. People say its a legend, really???. But Teh Tarik Racikan is two thumbs up. However, your main course is porridge, so make some improvement and add some soups. And its a bit pricy..

Mang oyo Bubur ayam (chicken porridge) on jalan sulanjana is one of the most famous food in Bandung. It opens at 6 am and it is always packed with people who want to try its taste. Some of the complementary food such as ati ampela were already sold out when we arrived last Tuesday at 8am and the bubur ayam were completely sold out by 9am 😅

Come early because it will sell out really fast. Taste is average at best, a mistery I cannot solve.They also sell other menu, so in case the porridge sold out, you still can enjoy a proper breakfast

If you want to eat the porridge you definitely should come 6-7 in the morning, otherwise you'll missed it. Beside porridge they have other menus, batagor, ketupat sayur, Tempe mendownload etc. Always crowded with people, long waiting after 30 minutes for our order and live music to wait your order. And the taste is ordinary. No parking, you'll have to park on the road.

The bubur is Amazing! If you like ati ampela (chicken liver), make sure you order the Bubur komplit. Chicken skin satay is worth the cholesterols you gain from it. The hot tea is amazing and aromatic, too. Ambience is great for breakfast. There was a live music that stands above all usual pengamen, and actually very entertaining with the best indonesian and international hits from the 80’s. There was an option to go for roti bakar or nasi goreng, too.

The place almost full, but still got a place. The staff is very fast to take our order. Just not my type of porridge. :-)

The food is delicious, but the one that I like is wedang ronde because there's slice of coconut meat.

Chicken porridge is tasty. No need to add soup. The price is expensive for one portion. The place is like foodcourt, they did not only sell chicken porridge, but also lontong sayur, rotti bakar and many more.
